2025 Calendar Photo Contest - Explore the County
Unleash your inner explorer! We're inviting you to join our "Explore the County" photo contest, where your pictures could be featured in our 2026 Calendar.
Whether it's on your daily walk or a hidden gem you just discovered, we want to see what makes our County special through your eyes.
How to Enter:
1. Take pictures - scenic landscapes, charming hamlets, hidden gems, wildlife and nature - while out exploring the County of Vermilion River. Please view contest rules below.
2. Submit your photos by emailing photocontest@county24.com (a limit of 10 per person) along with the Photo Consent Form found HERE.
3. All submissions must be received by August 15, 2025
County of Vermilion River Photo Contest Rules
- Deadline for submission is August 15, 2025
- Photos along with a Photo Permission Form should be submitted to the Photo Contest by email at photocontest@county24.com with no watermark overlay. The photo permission form can be found HERE.
- Where applicable, the County will provide photo credit to the photographer
- Contest is open to all photographers. You do not need to be a resident of the County of Vermilion River to enter.
- Photos must capture the contest theme “Explore the County” within the County of Vermilion River.
- Photos must be taken within or associated with the County of Vermilion River.
- Photos must be original and high resolution TIF or JPG files. Both horizontal and vertical images taken within or associated with the County of Vermilion River will be considered.
- Each photographer may enter up to 10 photos, but no more than two may win.
- The County of Vermilion River staff will judge all photos and choose the winners.
- Selected photos will be published in the 2026 County of Vermilion River Calendar and may be used in other promotions, publications or electronic media throughout the year.
