The County of Vermilion River Region has an available and educated labour force (over 15 yrs old) of 10,625. Additional labour can be drawn from the neighbouring major City of Lloydminster (over 24,000 in available labour force). Employers have the ability to develop their staff and access graduates from one of two Lakeland College campuses in the Town of Vermilion with the other located an hour away in the City of Lloydminster.
