The County of Vermilion River logo, adopted in 2005, incorporates the key influences within the County and symbolizes the essence of our municipality. The Logo was thoughtfully created to recognize and feature the key aspects of the County and incorporate them into a concise graphic.
The black "C" represents the Oil and Gas industry that is a major contributor to our economy.
The "V" is a stylized green leaf representing the Agriculture sector that is the fundamental basis of our heritage and lifestyle.
The blue “R” represents water incorporating the three rivers that beautify our landscape: the North Saskatchewan and Battle rivers that are part of our municipal boundary and the Vermilion River that inspired the name of our municipality.
The County Flag is a white flag with the Logo centred. The County of Vermilion River is written beneath the logo.
