Location
The County of Vermilion River (CVR) is a rural municipality in east-central Alberta. The eastern border coincides with the Alberta-Saskatchewan border and the City of Lloydminster.
Accessibility
An excellent transportation system that connects your business to global markets. Highway 16 (TransCanada Yellowhead) runs through the center of the County and is the major northern east/west trade route connecting to the west coast ports. Rail access exists with CN’s northern secondary mainline traveling east/west with a terminal point in Vermilion. Air service exists with Airports in Vermilion and Lloydminster, and close access to international airports in Edmonton and Calgary.
