Vermilion Provincial Park
Campground with 124 sites, some fully serviced. Many miles of paved and scenic hiking and biking trails traversing the Vermilion River valley. Fish in the Claude Brennan Trout pond, or visit the splash park or mini golf. In winter the area hosts the Vermilion Nordic Ski Club and 10km of tracked ski trails.
Jubilee Regional Park
Located at the junction of the Vermilion and the North Saskatchewan Rivers, Lea Park boasts a number of activity options for the whole family: Camp out, paddle, fish, golf, or climb to the top of Snake Hill viewpoint. Also home to the Lea Park Rodeo (one of the largest outdoor rodeos in Alberta) each June. Google Maps link HERE
Lindsay A. Evans Regional Park
A tranquil setting for bird watching, picnics and even some canoeing. Open day use only 7am-11pm from June 1 to after the Sept long weekend. Located south of Kitscoty off Hwy 897, West on TWP 490 for 3.5 miles and it is on your left between RR 34 and 35). Alcohol not allowed. The park is named for Lindsay A. Evans (1891-1976) - a renowned local artist and nature lover dedicated to enhancing his community. Definitely a great little gem in our County! Google Maps link HERE
Marwayne Trestle Bridge
This beautiful old trestle bridge was part of the CP rail line and can be found near TWP 532 and 530 on RR 34 (northwest of Marwayne) Google Maps link HERE
