Step 1: Browse Training Opportunities

Check the calendar below for upcoming scheduled courses. Looking for online options or other training? Visit the "Other Training Opportunities" section to see what's available. 

Step 2: Register or Express Interest

Once you find a course you're interested in, complete the Fire Training Interest Form:

• If it's a scheduled course, this starts the registration process.
• If it's TBD or based on interest, your submission helps us plan future training.

Step 3: Get Approval

Training must be approved by both your department Chief and the County Fire Chief before it's finalized. We'll send you an update once a decision has been made. 

Important Notes

• Please don't submit the same request multiple times. You'll receive an email confirming that we've received your request. We'll contact your Chief and send you a final confirmation once you're officially enrolled in the course. Please give us time to process everything.
• Only sign up for courses you're actually eligible for and genuinely interested in. Selecting all courses doesn't help -  it just slows down the process for everyone. 

Fire Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs, and Training Officers: Need funding for training in 2026? Have ideas for regional training?

Submit your requests and suggestions by October 31, 2025, so they can be considered in the County's budget planning.
