Land Use Bylaw (LUB) & Municipal Development Plan (MDP)

The Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Bylaw 19-03 effectively sets out the long term strategy for development and growth in the County.  Items that are included in the MDP are subdivision regulations, sustainability initiatives and the identification of zoning areas to name a few.  The Land Use Bylaw (LUB) 19-02 is the day to day regulatory document that governs and controls the use and development of land in the County.  This document outlines the various zoning districts and those activities that are permitted.  Further, the LUB outlines setbacks, spacing, permit requirements etc.

The review of both these documents is now complete - thank you to everyone who attended Open Houses or Public Hearings to contribute to the revisions.
