Environmental Farm Plans or EFP's, are a self assessment tool used to identify environmental risks on your farm and help to provide solutions to mitigate those risks.

 

The main goal EFP's are to showcase and prove your farms commitment to environmental sustainability. Why should you have and Environmental Farm Plan?

  • Become eligible for grant funding 

 

Environmental Farm Plan's open doors to project funding, such as shelter belts, offsite watering systems and grain dryer improvements under the Canadian Agriculture Partnership (CAP).

 

They're also a great way to unite generations on the farm to assess the efficiency of the operation, identify areas of improvement, set goals and plan for the future. Join us for a virtual EFP workshop where a technician can help you through the EFP workbook! Walk through the first 2 chapters of your EFP workbook with the help of an EFP Technician.
